01 / The friction

Meeting tools are useful, but the trade-off is often sending sensitive audio and context to a cloud service. I wanted the workflow without making the cloud the default.

02 / The approach

QuietScribe treats transcription as a working environment: capture microphone and system audio, clean speech, identify speakers, add notes and screenshots, then generate a useful summary with a local model.

03 / What it became

The result is closer to a private working notebook than a meeting bot — designed for people who want AI utility while keeping the source material close.
